Safety Briefing
What this specific route demands of you, and what we put in place to cover it.
Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) risk at 14,065 ft
This itinerary crosses 14,065 ft, where oxygen is roughly 40% thinner than at sea level. Your captain records SpO₂ and pulse twice daily, and the schedule builds in acclimatisation before every high camp. Report headache, nausea, or breathlessness immediately — descending early is always the right call.
Emergency oxygen & portable altitude chamber
Every high-altitude batch carries sealed oxygen cylinders, a pulse oximeter, and a comprehensive high-altitude medical kit. Evacuation routes to the nearest road head are mapped for each camp before departure.
NIM & ABVIMAS certified expedition leaders
Every batch is led by a mountaineering-institute graduate with wilderness first-aid certification. The leader-to-traveller ratio never exceeds 1:8 on technical sections.
24/7 operations desk & emergency contact tree
Your captain checks in with our central ops desk at fixed intervals. Emergency contacts you provide at booking are called directly if you are out of network for longer than expected.
Travel insurance strongly recommended
Insurance is not included in the trip cost. We strongly recommend a policy covering high-altitude adventure activity and emergency evacuation. Your captain can share the details insurers usually ask for.
